The Trustees

I joined Age Concern Lutterworth & District in 2006 as a volunteer fundraiser organising coffee mornings.
I was soon helping the weekly exercise group welcoming clients and making the tea.
In 2007 I became a Trustee; in 2011 I became Treasurer before being elected the Chair of Trustees in September 2013.
I am proud that Age Concern Lutterworth & District continues to grow, the shop and office in High Street ensures the charity can provide a varied selection of financially supported activities and a friendly face to the people of Lutterworth and the surrounding villages.

I have lived in Lutterworth since 1976 and soon after I retired in 2002 I began running one of the Lunch Clubs.

I then became a Trustee and Secretary. Several years ago I also took on the running of Thursday Club in which clients can do Line-Dancing or play games such as scrabble or what ever they want!

Treasurer  Mr Roger Platt

I have been in practice as a Chartered Accountant in Lutterworth for nearly 30 years. When approached to join Age Concern Lutterworth & District as trustee and treasurer, I was happy to accept, and I look forward to supporting the organisation in its valuable work for many years to come.
