Selly Manor – Bourneville
21st June 2017
We start our day at the Heart of the Country shopping centre arriving in time for morning coffee, after a short stay we make our way towards Birmingham and stopping for a two course lunch.
Selly Manor has been a museum since 1917, moved and rebuilt by George Cadbury. Our guided tour will give us the history of this 500 year old building along with the houses and life in Bournville.
The garden surrounding the buildings has a turf seat, vegetable patch, Tudor toilet (not real!!) a parterre and a knot garden. This is sure to be an interesting day.
