The Great Lutterworth Santa Fun Run is a yearly event ran by the Rotary Club of Lutterworth, where hundreds of runners in santa suits complete a course around Lutterworth to raise money for charity.
The event has been running for over ten years now, and in that time has raised £96,000 for charity, as well as provided plenty of fun for those who took part.
The 2017 run held on November 26th had 660 runners who managed to raise £7350 for charity through their entry fees and sponsorship, of which £870 was raised for Age Concern Lutterworth!
In 2018, £5,800 was raised for charity, including £550 we raised through sponsorships for Age Concern Lutterworth.
In future, we hope to have even more participants from the charity and raise even more money to go towards combating loneliness and isolation in the Lutterworth area.
