Fire Safety

Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service

While Leicestershire Fire and Rescue service provides an excellent
response to emergency incidents, we also strive to improve safety in the communities we serve, by working proactively to prevent fires and other emergencies from happening.

The most effective way to save lives and to reduce injuries is to reduce the number of incidents that happen in the first place.

Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service works to achieve these goals through a system of preventative education involving a wide range of initiatives aimed at promoting fire safety in the home and at work as well as road safety.

We work with all people from our wide and varied communities to educate them on fire safety in the home.
