In 2017, customers and volunteers at Age Concern Lutterworth donated a massive 1,083kg of food to Lutterworth & Villages Foodbank. Thank you so much to everyone who donated food through our charity shop. Donated food goes towards providing those in an emergency situation, whether from job loss, loss of benefits, or homelessness, with a healthy food parcel while food bank staff help them towards a long-term solution.
With 151 kilos donated in January and 140 kilos donated in February, we are currently on track to give even more food this year! If you wish to donate, simply bring your food along to our shop at 7 High Street Lutterworth, and leave it in the green box by the door marked ‘Food Bank’. All your food donated will go towards helping those in crisis in our community.
